About
screenactu covers the news in video games, film, tech — pop culture in general — with an editorial line that puts substance, quality and relevance first.
What you'll find here
The site is organised into sections: video games, film, pop culture/tech. In each one, two formats stand out:
- News: what has just happened, put back in context.
- Game and tech reviews, film reviews: a reasoned verdict, a mark out of 10, what we liked and what we liked rather less. The rules that govern them are set out in our editorial charter.
Every article is linked to the work or works it discusses, so you can follow a game or a film over time rather than article by article.
Who writes
Every article is signed, and every byline leads to a page gathering everything that person has published here. The editorial team is very, very small, and the site makes no secret of it.
The publisher
screenactu is published by a private individual, on a non-professional basis: the site sells nothing, carries no advertising and earns no revenue from it. The publisher does not make their identity public, as the law allows in this case; it is held by the site's host. Full details are in our legal notice.
