A few weeks out from the release of Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games keeps building the pressure around its game with a new video, this time devoted to the bonus suits in the digital Deluxe edition — and it is going to win fans over. A chance to see Logan in several looks drawn straight from the comics, just as the game has passed an important development milestone. Because alongside this showcase, the studio has confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine has now gone gold. Development of the main version is therefore finished, which confirms the game will indeed be available on 15 September 2026 on PS5, as planned.
Logan changes outfit
Because we also have a new video meant to highlight the five outfits reserved for the special digital edition, priced at €89.99. Insomniac offers several takes on the clawed mutant here, with suits Marvel readers will recognise:
- Savage suit
- New leather suit
- Age of Apocalypse suit
- Night Hunt suit
- Incredible suit
These different outfits will let you change Logan’s appearance during the adventure, with several nods to various periods of his comics history. But that’s not all: the Deluxe edition will also add five different appearances for Wolverine’s claws, along with extra technique points to unlock certain character upgrades more quickly. And for those who would rather hang on to their money, Insomniac points out that the game will also offer other free suits, which can be unlocked without buying this special edition.
Above all, this showcase comes with good news for players who feared a possible delay: Marvel’s Wolverine is officially gold. After several years of development and the many demos shown in recent weeks, Insomniac has finished the main version of the game. The studio can now focus on the final preparations before launch, including any fixes that can be folded into the day-one patch. Marvel’s Wolverine comes out on 15 September 2026, exclusively on PS5.
