In a different vein, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty also demanded serious commitment more than three years ago now, and obviously we can't wait to dive back into the tale of the Three Kingdoms. On that note, Koei Tecmo has put out a brand new video for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember to announce that the release date has been set for 4 March 2027.

That's not all, because in its official press release the publisher adds that a demo is already available on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store). On the PlayStation Blog, Masakazu Hirayama (the game's director) explains that this trial version (which ends on 30 September) lets you sample part of the Changban level and get to grips with a few of the new additions. Take, for instance, the defensive mechanics the developers at Team Ninja were keen to include to make combat less repetitive. There's also the wall run, not to mention the double jump for making the most of the environments' verticality — needs must in an open world. Worth noting that anyone who sees off the area's boss will unlock the special Fledgling Phoenix helmet in the full game.
