After Game of Thrones, realme is still raiding pop culture's biggest franchises to dress up its phones and turn them into objects of desire. This time the Chinese brand is unveiling a limited edition (and inevitably collectable) realme 16 Pro inspired directly by Harry Potter, with a design built entirely around Hogwarts. Better still, a collector's box takes the concept even further, with a faux-leather case containing a whole bundle of extras. For this special edition, realme hasn't simply slapped a Harry Potter logo on the back of the handset. The realme 16 Pro sports a brown finish with a leather-effect texture and a diamond pattern inspired by the famous wizard's chess scene. The Hogwarts house crests are worked into the design too, sitting deliberately discreetly in the middle of the phone.
The manufacturer has sweated the small stuff as well. The metal trim around the camera module gets a golden finish that evokes Hedwig's eyes, while "Welcome to Hogwarts" is laser-engraved on the phone's frame. Looking at the images, you can tell real care has gone into all of this.
Limited to 5,000 units
But it's the accompanying box that should really catch collectors' eyes. realme has announced a production run limited to just 5,000 units worldwide, with packaging modelled directly on Harry's trunk, reproduced at 1:1 scale. Inside, fans will find a genuine "Welcome to Hogwarts Pack", including an acceptance letter to the school of witchcraft and wizardry, a train ticket for platform 9¾ and bookmarks bearing the four house crests. The box also contains postcards depicting Harry, Hermione and Ron arriving at Hogwarts, plus a phone case in the school's colours and a custom SIM ejector tool. This Harry Potter edition of the realme 16 Pro officially launches today, 21 September 2026, worldwide — with the exception of France. Harsh.
