The Nintendo Switch 2 was the last console left without its own version of Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, and SNK has just put that right by announcing on this 23 October 2026 that the game is coming to Nintendo's hybrid console. That's right, the fighting game is available today on the eShop, with a choice of 2 editions, and the Japanese publisher is using the occasion to put the spotlight back on its upcoming Tokyo Revengers collaboration. That means a new video featuring Mikey and Draken, the two emblematic figures of the Tokyo Manji Gang, who are joining the roster as part of Season Pass 3. The first, real name Manjiro Sano, is the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Renowned for his speed and devastating kicks, he fully intends to make a name for himself against the fighters of South Town. Draken, aka Ken Ryuguji, is his right-hand man and most loyal ally. With his physical strength and a far more head-on style, he should offer a very different approach to Mikey's.
SNK has also lined up story content to work the two characters into the Fatal Fury universe. In the single-player 'Episodes of South Town' mode, Krauser is after the power of the Sacred Scrolls and kidnaps Rock, the only one able to channel that energy. Terry Bogard and Kain try to save him, but find themselves overwhelmed by their opponent's power. That's when Mikey and Draken step in to lend a hand and put a stop to Krauser's plans. Worth noting that each character will have their own storyline in Arcade mode. Mikey finds himself transported to South Town by the power of the Sacred Scrolls and plans to carve out a place for himself in the King of Fighters tournament. Draken, meanwhile, sets off in search of his friend after his mysterious disappearance, before being dragged into the tournament himself.
Both characters will of course get free alternate costumes, designed especially for this crossover. Mikey can wear an outfit inspired by Terry Bogard, while Draken's takes its cues from Vox Reaper.
Justin Wong and Tokido promote the game
Elsewhere, to accompany this Nintendo Switch 2 release, SNK has also put out an advert bringing together several figures from the fighting game scene, as well as from Japanese comedy. It features pro players Justin Wong and Tokido, comedy duo NO MOTION and La+ Darknesss, the well-known Japanese VTuber. SNK also brought in French cosplayer Wild Wolf, who travelled to Japan with a Terry Bogard costume. The video naturally plays up the fact that you can play Fatal Fury City of the Wolves wherever you like in handheld mode, while docked mode is better still. As usual.
